About Xetus
Xetus is a privately held California corporation founded in 1999. We work for the mortgage banking industry. Our art tames technology and delivers productivity. We address problems globally, re-engineer processes and build unexpected and remarkable products.

What we did
Loan processing is complicated. We experienced the processing problems firsthand. We sat in the chairs of the workers and the managers, did the work they do and used the tools they use. We felt their pain.

We lamented the complexity and the deep entrenchment of the current problems. We understood why there was consensus that improvement was years away – the source of the problem was due to intrinsic limitations in all computing systems. To build a better LOS, we needed to remove boundaries fundamental to computing.

As we studied loan processes and looked at the work performed at each step, a simple but important idea emerged. We realized we could create a more powerful form of computing – a blend of processing, data storage, and the Internet – that would eliminate computing boundaries. Ironically, a new and more powerful form of computing was inspired by processing issues specific to mortgage banking.

Significant breakthroughs result from simple insights. VisiCalc, the first spreadsheet, was built upon a simple but powerful organization of data. Personal computers were created when micro-processors were applied in ways no one anticipated. The Internet was underutilized for twenty years until the browser unleashed untapped capacity. XetusOne, created to resolve the inadequacies of loan processing technologies, is more powerful than any other form of software and is the first in a new generation of supply chain integration software.
